To celebrate a special year, the mint has launched a collection of 10 unique coins.
The request was made to famous portuguese personalities, such as the painter júlio pomar, to create a coin illustrating the main achievements of the portuguese: from the circumnavigation voyage of fernão de magalhaes to the caravel.
Lavva created an experiential website showing the 10 coins
Their history and that of their creators, and the aim was for people to vote for their favourite coin and only the most voted coin was made.
The site also stood out for its numerous animations and dynamics, which made for a fluid and enjoyable browsing experience for visitors.
The site went viral and thousands of people voted for the winning coin.
